McKinley Dixon is a hyper-talented MC from Richmond, VA who addresses discrimination, gang culture and systemic oppression through full band hip hop. Dixon looks through the eyes of people in his community to capture the true depth and diversity of the American black experience. The result is a tactile, jazzy throwback sound with bar after bar of dense narrative. He is the first black artist on renowned Saddle Creek Records.
